I dunno, but most of them run like the timing chain was installed a tooth off and they bought a sweet 4 barrell intake but ran out of money and had to JB Weld a 2 barrell carb they found at the junkyard onto it.

To take a stupid wild *** guess, I'd go for an engine in good condition with a decent cam and large primary long tube headers with a goodly shot of nitrous.

Local V8 swapped s10's I've seen were either stock 305 or 350's from 1980's reject "muscle cars" with a 4 barrel and headers slapped on. Good idea, bad execution.
