im sick as ---- (worst day today).. anyone have any homemade remedy for the cold?

I'm thinking of grabbing some Robitussin or equivalent. I've never tried it with alcohol tho, anyone have any experience with cold medicine + alcohol?

my friend swears by thera flu and vodka. i haven't tried it though.

bah that ---- don't work. Medicines never really worked well for me.

You could do like these black people around here, heat up some cognac and drank that. I also see them eating lemons when they're sick :P

My mom swears by the lemon and salt treatment although i think thats for sore throats. But honey in everything and also thra flu that ---- makes you feel 20x's better.

just some good ole cold medicine will do the trick. get the stuff that makes you sleep. it will do the trick. no alchol. get better first, then try that ----. then let me know how it is.

oh. i got a home remedy. but i bet u 5 bucks u wont try it cause ull be like "ewww, thats nasty"

take some lemons. cut em up into slices that ur blender can take. dont peel them. throw em in there with the peels and everything.

hit the blender till its mixed up good. then take a strainer and strain it. put the lemon juice back in the blender. add sugar to taste. a little ice. blend. and drink away. i swear. its the best lemonade i ever tasted.

take 1/2 gram or 500mg vitamin C three times a day and take regular multi vitamins twice a day, even if they are one a day vitamins. You might not want to go buy vitamin c but it is really worth it. every time I feel just a little bit sick I take them and it goes away. Echineaca also helps, its an herbal thing.
