I'm just curious because i'm about to move up there. Long story short one of my best friends died and because of that I was given an opportunity to take a job there and I jumped on it.

I lived there for 2 years dropped out of UNLV and moved back to california. Not a bad place but the lack of community and overgrowth made life hard. Crime is pretty bad dont park a car you like outside, freeway system is a joke, lots of construction so get use to getting nails in your tires. Im also a very grassroots type of guy small business fan etc and Vegas is lots of corprate crap thrown down your throat. Overall I miss it sometimes but be very careful where you live. North VEgas is a no no.
