Anybody! Ford F350, I have on to Play with
My Bro-in-law has a F350 Superduty Pickup. He's a mechanic but has played around with turbo's and newer vehicles in the sense of making them more fun then factory.
He has always been interested as soon as I turboed my car. I gave him my old boost gauge that read a little off and he tossed it on. He says it read 18-19psi but it also might be 3 psi out. He fildled with it so I have to check on my car.
I going there tonight to play with the truck( hopefully some people respond? I know some guys here have these trucks!)
So the Question is, What should this truck run for psi from factory, and how much could we up it using my MBC? I know not to much until the ECU starts farting on our fun but I think a little. His bro has one of these trucks too, and he rebuild clean title ones for a side business so I'm sure if it can be don we can do it!

They run something like 20psi from the factory,....it might not even be that high. I've never driven a stock one. :P Diablo makes chips for them that will raise the boost to around 30psi. They bone the ---- out after that. They will throw a code if you go over 30psi though. The cool thing is the code goes away after you bring it back down under 30psi.
I'm not sure how much you can safely raise it without the proper fuel adjustments. You might end up blowing the ****** up.
On my buddies F350, we took the wastegate actuator arm off, twisted it in like 4 full turns and pulled it out as far as we could get it and hooked it back onto the wastegate. That gave it a few extra psi at the top of 5th. It's crazy pulling 30psi in 5th gear for minutes at a time. Those ******* are pretty tough.

They make the most power when CLOUDS of black smoke come out of the exhaust. I've seen Duramax trucks smoke like a train after a full 4" exhaust, Diablo programmer, and an intake. You can pull o much more power out of those motors.
The auto trannies in the Cummins aren't the strongest and the PowerStrokes aren't that strong, but the manual trannies are indestructable. My room mate has proved that over and over again. We raced one time and he dropped the clutch in 4wd high on the take off and when it got going he shifted back into 2wd for the remainder of the race. I've never seen an object that big move so fast. It was ------- crazy. It was almost like somebody rearended him as he took off. That was one of several hundred beatings that truck took.

Well, i have more info,
Stock, 15-16psi(www.ford-trucks.com)
ECU Doesn't like any thing above 24psi stock.
Guys pull the wastegate off and run anywheres 30-40psi. They put a relief valve to the map sensor to blead the excess pressure off.
His, his bros and a few they have the yard are all manuals, so no prob.
And a friend of there had a brand new GM Full-Cab Long box dually and it had an upgrader. On stage7-9 the thing could do donuts on dry pavement, but the tranny would always cut out in stage 8-9 because it was an auto.
