Thanks for all your replies. Last night i filled out the loan papers for the Nissan. The Colorado was going for the same retail price as the Tacoma. I couldn't believe it.
If everything goes well i should have the truck by next weekend.

Looks just like this one minus the roof rack...

they switched from the 3.3 to the 4.0 in '05, going from 190 to 272hp. epa dogged the hp and mpg rating in '05 also, so it dropped it to 261

It had to be the fastest small pickup i have ever drove. Test driving it last night i was cruising at about 25 and punched it. The wheels spun a bit and it took the ---- off. The engine sounds incredibly smooth also.
