Any Info on a B17?
Does anyone know anything about a B17. A friend of mine left one in my garage. He said i could sell it. Does any one know anything about it. The only thing I know is that its a B17. Could someone tell me what it came out of or how much its worth or just any information. Thanks

First DOHC B-series in the US, it's basically a b16a with a different crank and thats it.
aka as the bastard b. It's a pretty rare engine and if you can get it cheap pick it up. Lots of people love using the cranks in other apps.

so it has Motor Tranny, ECU, axles w/ ishaft, Shift Linkage, Motor Mounts Alternator, Starter, Clutch, Flywheel, Intake Manifold, Exhaust Manifold, Fuel Rail, injectors, Distributor, Engine Harness etc etc?
OR is it a longblock/tranny with a ecu?
How much does he want?

Its every single thing except motor mounts. It even has the stock cat and original complete exhaust. If the means anything. He kinda gave it to me. And we also have just a bare B17 block. Its fucked though! So how much do you think it would go for. I'd like to sell it.

Definatly keep the swap and put it in whatever ya got.
thats pretty vauge? what do you mean its fucked does it have holes hanging outside of the block? are the sleeves scared, are the journals ok on the crankshaft. Posting a pic of it or being a bit more descriptive than "Fucked block for sale $200" would help. 
we also have just a bare B17 block. Its fucked though! So how much do you think it would go for. I'd like to sell it.

I didnt mean sell the block, I wanna sell the complete swap. Im runnin a B18 so I have no use for the B17 swap. And if anyone wanted the block...They could just pick that ---- up. Everythings good except the sleeves. They are just scracthed like hell. I wanna know how much to ask for the swap. Or if anyone would like to buy on here. Thanks
