i have a 99 civic ex with a y8 so im getting ready to build a d series up. will any d15 and d16 hook right up to my mounts and original tranny?

Yes, but your ECU wont work because you have a crank sensor. If you have to go through emissions like in CT they plug into your diagnostic port. You instantly fail with no reading.

so if i swapped a 92-95 civic engine in it and put in my obd2-obd1 harness with a chipped p28 would it work ? and i wouldnt pass emissiions with this right?

Yes it would work and the emissions depends on your state.You could always do a Y8 and then switch back to NA for emissions.

i live in az. i have a y8 in it right now but it was hard to tune the timing. so i want a engine to put some tuner toys rods,pistons, then get some new valves and springs and crank shaft. my y8 is most likely almost done. so hopefully when i get my body fixed ill get it through emissions a few months early so i can throw in the built d15 or d16. can i use my alternator,dizzy,intake mani from the y8 on the built d15/16?

Yes it should all fit. Do yourself a favor and build a D16. Stay away from the D15's.
