Your probably going to be better off bringing it in to have the a/c serviced.
That is where I would look after having the system recharged if it still works like ----

That doesn't mean it's 50* inside the car. It would take like 752 hours at that rate to get down to 50* inside the cab. When it's 100+ outside and the sun is shining on you it's not really that cold. I'm going to stick the thermo on my GF's Cavalier and see how cold that one is. I LOVE the AC in her car.
in MK2 vw's if its really hot out the vents will smoke from the cold air coming out, r12 FTW

the prices of r12 have actually dropped a bit in the past year because everyone wants to be cheap and switch to r134. the supply is going up and the demand is going down .

I bypassed the heatercore. Now that ****** sits right around 40* at IDLE. It is a bit cooler outside today, but I can tell it's blowing WAY colder than it was. Who needs a heatercore anyways? :1
