NOT TRUE, torque wrenches do not fall under the lifetime warranty of hand tools, read the warranty manual and also ask me how I know.... Lame ---- man....especially when your 100 dollar wrench breaks because it has a plastic dial and grip.

I would go with a Mac. Just my opinion, not my money though.

Craftsman still makes a good torque wrench.

But none of the companeis offer a life time warranty on them.

Simply because torque wrenches will break over time.

I use the harbor freight 3/8 drive. It works great and I only paid like $15 bux for it.

I've used the craftsman one, and its nice, but I had to treat it like an egg since its so expensive and it wasn't mine.

Just get a $15 one and don't drop it, unless you work at a benz/BMW dealership. The $15 one will also work for Ford techs since everything Ford makes will break before the bolts come out, hehehe ( ford focus owner ).

The quality of their stuff isn't super great, but for the price, it gets the job done. I just got a compression tester for $15 and a timing light for $12 there. The quality of the hose on the compression tester isn't as good as a snap-on one, but then again, the snap-on hose by itself is $60. I bought it to make a leak down tester anyway and it works just fine for that.

i just got a craftsman set for $50 .. a little expensive for a compression tester, but the hoses are beefcake and it came with a bunch of adapter, and replacement parts ... and i case, which is always nice....

as for a leakdown tester, how the hell to you make one or, where could u purchase one
