Congrats i too just bought a home and dont feel bad i paid 145 for 780sqft in northern Canada where there is still 3 feet of snow on the ground :1 Should be some good deals coming up there soon with the forclosures starting to come up on the market ?

I'm buying a house for both reasons. I guess you would have to know the housing market out here to understand why buying a house out here right now is a GREAT investment. You couldn't touch a house for under $185 a couple years ago. Now they're selling for as low as $130k. They can't drop any farther and even if they do drop a little bit more it has to come back up. It always does. Anybody who has the money is buying homes right now to sell when the market goes back up.
