Basically once the thief is inside the car at 3 in the morning, if it has tinted windows, they have almost all the time in the world.
If you're going to get an alarm, put it in the dash and make sure you have multiple hoodpins so they can't just pry the hood back without setting off the alarm and disconnect the battery.

it does help to be at least aquantences with theives, and to be the "homeboi" of the theives "homebois". just off the top of my head, i can think of 3, active theives in seattle

This is what I mentioned above. They are called GoJaks.
I'm not going to start telling of easier ways to break steering locks, but all you guys that think it needs to be broken with prybars, hammers, vice grips, whatever are insane. If you plan on driving the car away ONE tool is needed and if fits in your pocket.
And NO I am not a car thief. I own a salvage business that specializes in Honda/Acura and when the cars dont come with keys, theres no use in ruining the steering column to start and drive it.
