Hey, for under $25 i'd love to see you do better...and that's including the mig wire. I had to make everything...flanges, bends, everything I agree, it could've looked a little nicer if i ground the welds but i got lazy at that point. Function over form is def. the rule of thumb here.

how did yo make your flanges, i'm about to do it with some 3/8 steel and an oxy/acetylene torch

The exhaust flange that bolts to the motor sucked *** to make. I copied the exhaust gasket pattern onto the steel, then drilled it out using a hole saw for the exhaust ports. Only prob. is honda exhaust ports are oval, not round...which meant i had to drill two holes technicly just to make one port and overlap the holes. Hit the centers of them with a die-grinder to remove the little bit of overlap, and voila'...actually matched up perfectly too. Pretty much did the same with the turbo flange as well cause the mitsu turbos have circular ports instead of square. Just used a large hole saw for that as well. And lots of wd-40 to keep all the hole saw and drill bits cool.

oh alright, thanks.

i guess ill just buy some hole saws instead of spending 40 bucks to get the tanks filled up with oxy and acetylene

Depending on the flange you need to make, it'll def. be easier just to buy one. If you're looking for the exhaust flanges, i think the best deal you can get would be from discrete racing(i think that's the name?). Now if it's a exhaust to turbo flange, it probably would be better to make it yourself.
