Even if we can agree that it's warmer now than at some point in last century (can we?), we can't necessarily agree that it hasn't been warmer at some point before. Also I will never buy the story that 0.05% of the atmosphere is capable of decreasing the planet's thermal radiation by 50% like Al Gore likes us to believe.

I don't get what you guys are bitching about. Let's say global warming is a bunch of bullshit. Would it be so bad to move away from coal power and move towards solar, wind, and nuclear power? Is it such a bad thing to limit CO2 emissions which has negative health affects? I mean Al Gore sucks and is a huge hypocrite, but the idea of living a cleaner/greener lifestyle isn't a terrible idea when implemented in a practical moderate manner. If solar power wasn't $20,000 after rebate for a 2000-3000 sq ft home, I'd surely invest. It's just too much of an initial payment to make it practical for most Americans who live close to paycheck to paycheck.

I could care less if you have a cat. I do believe if you daily drive something, it should be subject to adhere to some level of emissions standards. It's really not that hard to have a "fast" car and have it fall within the emissions requirements. I'm not talking about Cali bullshit laws about modifying your intake. I'm talking about sniffer test levels. Complain all day about being green and your cars, but without the big green push, do you think E85 would be at the pump in most states? E85 is a car guys dream. 105 octane fuel that cools combustion temps and is only $2.50 a gallon. Jesus Christ.

Also, Al Gore isn't a crazy, if you don't drive a hybrid you can go to hell kind of guy. He didn't have a hybrid for a long time. He still flies around the world in a private jet. Overall he is a lot more talk than walk.
