air to water from ebay?

Re: air to water from ebay?
I had a look on ebay to see what you could do with it. You could use a motorbike radiator and a small 12v electric pump, that would give you pretty decent cooling. Plumbing is just rubber hose and a few jubilee clips. More money then an intercooler, but more effective and more stealthy.

It needs a seperate pump/res/heat exchanger. Otherwise it's not going to do a damn thing.

If you want to throw it on a DD, you need a large volume of water.

i was planning on using a pump and a heat exchanger, i wa going to mount it where the intercooler is now and put a cell up where my battery used to be. id put the exchanger after the intercooler so as its goes from the ibntercooler back to the cell, it will go thru the exchanger and help cool it down. i was gonna mix in this stuff we use at work. Its normally used for your radiator, but it has the ability to keep your cooling system cooler. Its almost like water wetter but its in this gallon metal can, ill get the name of it tonight. I mostly wanted the water to air to have a shorter distance from my turbo to the throttle body and i think it would be fun to put together

Just find a radiator with an integral reservoir. Even a 600 will have an oversized radiator for this application. Some of them even come with small fans.
The only worry is, if anything fails, your putting uncooled air into the engine (eg a coolant leak or coolant pump failure). Whereas an intercooler you leak boost at worst.
