Default Air Tools. How did I go without you for so long?

Seriously. Im still new to cars really and have just done basic ---- and a engine swap and a tranny swapp recently

I was using just standard manual ratchets and breaker bars

But just recently Canadian Tire threw a huge sale on an air compressor 2.5hp 8 gallon, came with a 40foot line, 1/2" gun, 3/8" ratchet, air hammer and a air blower thing

Well tonight was the first time I had a chance to bust it, was throwing my stock suspension back on for the winter in light of the huge speed bump my complex just installed and canadian winters suck dick.

Honestly, I could take off the nuts faster than I could change the ------- bits.

vvvvvvvvvvvmmmmmmm vmmmmmmmmmmmmvvvvvmmmmmmmm

------- just on and off like butter, every single bolt on the LCA came off like it was ------- nothing

I even took the lugs off in like a millesecond

I was expecting it to take me well into the night to swap it all but I did it in under 2 hours including dinner and an oil change and finding some pieces of the shocks that I let fly down the driveway instead of investing in an air compressor

And I had time to go out and met Cathy

I dunno, stupid thread, just never knew how easy it made ----, Ill look forward to my next project.

Kind of like the first time you busted a nut, total shock and amazement on how you went so long with something so good so close to home

I've got air plumbed throughout my garage and the compressor mounted in the ceiling to be quiet... air saves the day all the time...

I use air tools once in a while but sometimes I just prefer my 2 ft breaker bar with a 4 ft extension. :P

my g/f's uncle has a pit in his garage. installed a big cement pillar with an I-beam to support the other side of the car.

Damn housing codes made him install an "exhaust blower" to pump out fumes.. lol. he has plumbed air, gas and stereo throughout his garage.

I'm pretty lucky, I got my air compressor when I was 18 and have been loving it ever since. If you really have some extra money to throw around at tool, I would suggest a set of impact swivels. I don't own a set but my Fiance's dad lets me use his and they rock, but are over 200 for a small set.
