Default AE86 clutch install, HMT CANADIAN STYLEZ(56k, you suck)

WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER INSTALLEMENT, OF "HMT CANADIAN GHETTO STYLEZ" tODAY WE ARE DOING A CLUTCH
INSTALL ON A $150 1986 AE86.

First step is to jack up car and make sure it's secure, I
------- hate jack stands, Some good ol 17s and a
doughnut work good.

Then you wana unbolt the tranny, rear driveshaft(leave end
still in tranny, otherwiser goo leaks out), starter, shifter, and anything else that looks attached to the transmission, we
thought it would be a good idea to drain the tranny fluid now, so non leaked out while we were working. but the
pail missed most of it,
Cat liter to the rescue!!!

So I got mad and kicked the bucket,

now use a jack to support the tranny, and undo the cross member, after that, wiggle the tranny back and out,
un connect all the wires and ---- if you want. Becareful the
tranny dont fall off the jack, if you look closely the transmission is actually hanging from the speedo cable and other ground wireS,
etc. lol

When I was working under there, I found another hidden message like I found on the honda,
Tells you something about the company when
they can't even spell their own name right,
it says "ToyoDa"

Take off the old pressure plate and clutch, unbolt it in a
criss cross manner, inspect the flywheel, make sure it don't need resurfacing, ours did, but I don't give a ----,
next you wana use the alignment tool and bolt up the new clutch disc and plate, tighten in a criss cross pattern
till what ever torque you feel like.

I left the ------- trouble light sit on the air hose too
long and it made a little hole in it, scared the ---- out
of me, I tried plugging it with tape but a good ol' screw
taken from the dash board stoped the leak right away...

Now you wana put on the new throw out bearing, pull it off
the tranny, it's connected to a ------- thing and it's
pressed on, so you need yourself a socket, some wood and a
big hammer, pop that sucker off and put on the new one,
take a big hand full of grease and smudge it all around
the bearing and arm, sorry no pics.
Next you wana jack the tranny back up and bolt it all up
together, this can take awhile, so here it is all done,
notice the wires hanging, they came out of somewhere, i
don't know, but who gives a flying ----?

Now your pretty much done, fill up the tranny with some
old oil, (or new if your a rich bastard) and lower her
back down,(or throw her in reverse) don't worry about
adjusting anything, it's not your car, you don't care
Yep, she's rusted through

yeah she's JDM (for anyone who doesn't know, JDM stands for Jewish Demestic Market)
shes got some battle trek scars but I think that adds character, and style.

I don't have any drifting vids cause it's too dark out
right now, but 2morow, I'll show you how we break in
clutchs up here in canada. :P

Our next installment of HMT Canadian stylez will include
the making of your own fiberglass hood, lightning up your
car by removing things you never even knew where there,
painting your car for 20 bucks and fixing exhaust for
cheap.

Simply the best documentation of any work ever performed in any garage. Spencer, your on to something here. I already can't wait for the next episode of "HMT Canadian Stylez" This ---- is just amazing. Reality tv at it's finest. ----,,,,, what more can I say?

One suggestion though. Instead of pronouncing it like "styles", is it ok if I take it to the next level and pronounce it "styleez"? I think it's more fitting.

"....this can take a while, so here it is all done." (classic)

Toyoda is what the original toyota name was going to be, there a long story behind this and they chose toyota because some supersticious japanese guy told them it would be good luck

There's some company history info here. The guy that founded the company was named Eiji Toyoda and the company was first called "Toyoda Automatic Loom Works", the article says that the name was changed to Toyota Motor Corp. but it doesn't say why.
