i built my first two plates and after a million cuts and tons of swearing they were still shitty. heres my first one, only paid 5 bux..
my skillz suck but what do u expect if all u got is a drill and a dremel? my second was a bit better but for the 40 bux that BMC charges its money well spent.

i have all the resources and i am very good with fabrication and i only paided $5 for a foot of 1/4 hot rolled steel......im just gonna give it a try and if it dont work out ill just buy the adapter plate form BMC

Hardest part is going to be making that hole and then port matching it. I use to use a Big drill press that would go down real slow like 115rpm's and a good metal hole saw. Or.. (its sloppy) get a torch and just blow a hole in the ******, it takes way longer to port it because the edges look like ----. But I agree I'd do it yourself..
