I've never "broke" a clutch in. The last clutch I broke in I pulled out of my driveway after the install and did a burnout, followed by some 2nd and 3rd gear chirps. That same clutch is still being used by a member on this board after about 5 years of *** kicking boosted abuse.

It was an Exedy BTW....

when i had my clutch replaced, I got me one of those daikins. Since it wasn't my daily driver, rather a once in a while car, I tore that thing up ever chance I had. Sold the car and the clutch still runs great, it's been like 3 years, and it's still holding up. 3 years, let's say 10k miles a year, 30k miles, and going strong.

I currently have a Centerforce clutch, but I've totally destroyed it. If I floor it in first gear and step on the brakes at the same time, the clutch will just slip and the motor get to around 5000rpm at 15psi.

i know a few people with clutch specialties and its a hella nice clutch. I personally run a dual diaphram pp 6 puck sprung clutchnet. Good driveability but the damn thing is soo ------ tough

In my beater 92 teg, I have basically the same clutch as you, and it has held really well for approximately 75,000 kms. It obviously doesn't grab like it used to, but will still knock the fillings out of your teeth if you shift right. The clutch kit has worked great for me.

Wanna know a shitty clutch? Try Centerforce dual friction, never held since the beginning, and back then I only had like 99hp...
Centerforce clutches are not made with the right material at all. They slip even on stock set ups. They were giving them away free for a long time for people to test them out.
Sorry about that ACt clutch scott. You know i have you covered on that 300zx kit and Clutch specialties is the way to go man.
