Well not my stuff.. a customer crx I was working on got his stereo and whatever else was in the car got stolen out of it.



I walk up to it this afternoon... I'm on the phone with josh ross, just Bs'n and I'm sitting there starring at it going, man something looks funny.



Hmm, thinking to myself, wasnt there a wind deflector there?



Ahh yes, there it is on the ground.. I thought someone might of smacked it or something, but never would have though someone broke into it like that. ---- I guess they pulled the window back and opened it that way.



This car had one of those Cd players that have the flaceplates that flip around and go back into the deck, so it makes it look like nothing is there. I dont even know if it worked because it was always in the off postion.



I have no idea what exactly was even in the back area. Assuming there was a amp and sub box. All gone, not sure if it was good or cheap ----.



I guess I just feel really bad for this guy, he had someone put this b16a in, it didnt run. it had 12 different CEL's, wiring all hacked, exhaust was off alternator hitting the frame, dead distributor, no intake, motor mounts all loose, axles about to fall out, etc etc. He pretty much got ripped off. So me being the nice guy, I went through and fixed just about everything, car runs good now. 15 mins before I went outside I called him pretty much saying his car was done. Now this happens, jesus christ.

Now I'm not exactly sure how were going to handle this, I called the cops, filled the police report out etc etc. Nothing they can really do. I just dont want this kids dad coming after me or something. I dont think I should be responseable for whats in the car and if its missing.

I do know one thing, that car was going nowhere... I take the ecu's out of everything I drive, and disable them in other ways.

What do I do now.... "Hi, you owe me 375 bucks for parts and labor, and your stereo ---- is gone. Have a nice day"

Wow, that sucks. I'd feel guilty as hell.

That really sucks dude. I dont know what to tell you.. I guess just explain what happened and hope he doesnt freak

That really blows though.. damn thieves. They did it pretty sneakily too.. if they had not thrown the reflector on the ground you probably wouldn't have thought anything of it.

J/K, this kinda reminded me of that incident with Beau and his stereo.

Most likely his steroe wasn't on the insurance policy, like most people, so it won't be covered.

Maybe the ---- didn't even work so the guy won't even care that much.

still sucks tho, insurance companies are worse then the damn thieves. I had over 2g's of ---- stolen outta my car, it was covered, but i had no reciepts, and they were like, sorry, yer fuct. So now i save EVERYTHING!

Systems are gay anyway. The important thing is that his car is running good. You would only be held liable if you left the car unlocked or something.

He just called me, didnt seem to upset. He said he had insurance and his dad is on his way over to check it out.
