it has a shitty rear end too.
ford 9in is one of the best stock rearends you can modifiy.
i went to the super chevy show at pacific raceways and 99.9% of the pro-streets were running a ford 9in.

its cool for street. but id rather go buy the pimp *** strange rear end. if i was going to build a race car it better be quick enough to run super pro so i can possibley make some money back :P atleast 50 bucks if you made it to the 8th round on a 40 dollar entry fee. its like racing for free

alot of chevy guys swap in a ford 9 inch also... its more common than you think. I have also seen more mustangs than anything snap driveline parts at the track... idk what that is about

You have no idea about old school hotrodding. Lots of guys take any car they want and throw some domestic power into it. I've seen plenty of chevy Vegas that could spank the ---- out of that car.. this really isn't that impressive to me, I've already picked apart his entire setup.

I've wasted more time on bastardizing motors in certain cars.
And yes, that car doesn't deserve the setup that it has.. but whatever, to each his own.
and yes strange gears are nice but a ford 9 is the basic setup that is cheap and effective.. much better then say a chevy 12 bolt.
