nah, i bet thats exhaust gasket sealent ----. I hear thats what nascar uses instead of exhaust gaskets? I've had good luck with it.

It looks like ultra copper exhaust sealant...we used to use that on all our vintage cars. Works for everything...you won't find one drop of blue silicone on my car, only the copper stuff. Very high temp too.
