99 civic ex or chill with the 95?

alright everbody, heres me chance to own a 99 civic for like 4000$ no problems and no mods. should i sell my 95 and try to get it? is the 6th gen civic ex motors any good? or is my d16z6 better.

99 is obd2 and a hassle when u mod it.. stick w/ the 95.

the only thing that are better on the 99.. the IM flows a little better and the tranny shift works are steel, not alum.

I would go for it they body looks more modern and the engine would be very similar to what you have now.

yeah, very simple and inexpensive, all you need is a conversion harness (100 bucks MAX!) and an obd1 p28 (150 MAX!). yeah, if the body and whole car is nicer and you can afford it, i say go for it.

stick with the eg. your z6 is fine.
also, check with your insurance on the price difference.

yeah i agree with teg. He gave me tips on how to convert to obd1 a while back. there nothing wrong with a 99 ex i would never trade in mine for an older one

yeah the cars alot nicer and no rust has 66kmiles mine has 120k and mine has ---- loads of new problems since turbo. and mines starting to get rustie

well if your car is pretty shitty and you can get enough money to get the 99 striaght up, do it. I like both bodies, but if one is mint and the other is shabby, i'll take the monit one.
