if its so fast why don't you get a good video of the gauges on a nice pull and prove it?

Another thing...I'm by no means a stunter, but I can twelve and highchair. Wheeling a turbo bike is a whole different matter cause of the lag and then the sudden power. Took me a while just to be able ride those wheelies.

If you never rode a turbo bike, let alone a bike, it's unexplainable.
i ride a 954. ive owned it for almost 2 years now and im still afraid of it so ill give you credit for ripping a wheelie like that.

ive been playing with the idea of turboing my 954, not so much for performance but just as a novelty so i can say i did it. i dont even ride the bike. i havent actually had it out since maybe the middle of spring. just no real motivation to ride it. id be curious to see some pictures of your setup.

as for the wheelies, looked like you yanked on the bars while i was watching
Oh it's for sure faster than the r1

Yup I do pull on the bars...but I do that out of habbit and to make it more controllable when it comes up since I can't clutch the wheelies up. When you first pull it up, it's pretty hairy cause of the turbo till you get it stabilized, then you just gotta be perfectly smooth and not give it a chance to boost or it can flip very quick. Like I said, turbo wheelies are a whole different thing that took a while to learn. That's why you don't see any wheelies being actually "ridden" on turbo bikes. If someone can find a longer wheelie than mine on a turbo bike, I'd like to see it. Seriously.

Well, I don't really have anything to prove here in the first place, but if I get a chance, I'll try to record somethig this week. Remember that video was just a video of some wheelies on a turbo bike. I wasn't trying to claim any speed records with it in the first place. And also, that video is from a couple months apart. First part was when it was a 600 and the last two wheelies was after I bored it to a 636. Another problem is that are not many straight roads here with no traffic. The stretch in the video is one of the longer straights and even there it doesn't take long for the cops to come.

Like hell you can't skip gears. Clutch in, click twice, clutch out. Same as shifting one gear, just click the shifter again. Unless you're shifting without a clutch I don't see why you can't.

Yeah you should do it if you get the chance...

One of the reasons I did this bike was to use it as a testbed for when I do my 929. I'm going to supercharge the 929 though. Turbo is more power for sure but with a supercharger at least it'll behave more like normal bike. If you don't care about riding wheelies, turbo all the way

Already got a blower picked out for it? I had a Kiwi friend who was offering to distro blowers off of some 600cc kei-class car/truck they have downunder-ish, maybe I could put you in contact?

Not too much point in it. Yea, most of my shifting is clutcless so wouldn't work anyway. This thing's sorta like a two stroke dirtbike if you rode one. 1-3 you just shift as fast as you can.

how do you plan to drive the blower?

honestly if i do it, i probably wont actually ride the bike, or if i do i probably wont actually rip on it. like i said, the bike is already too fast for me (im a ----- on it). i think its only actually hit above 10K 3 times since ive owned it.
