My friend got a call today. The car was found by the police department of Snohomish. Appears the rims are not on it. I am sure the stereo system isn't there also. But that is all we have right this second.
It's kinda Ironic, both my friend (owner of the car) and I are from Olympia. We purchased the car 2-3 years ago. From a teenager girl in Lake Stevens/Snohomish/Everett area and that is where it was stolen...
Pretty much had everything on it when we bought the car...

Do they use bait cars in the US?They are really common here in BC and have been pretty effective.The videos are funny to watch too.I think if they started using some "modiifed" Hondas it might help deter the thiefs that are chop shopping cars instead of getting the junkies that is the primary target of bait cars currently.

Funny thing is, a bait car is the easiest thing to detect.
If I was greedier, or had less moral structure, I would be unstoppable. Me, rawr, and a transfer truck full of Diablos, y0!

There is no visible evidnece until it shuts off when your ripping along and the cops pull up.

i wud just have myself a remotly mounted airbag switch and mount an airbag in the headrest of the seat too..
they start to drive away.. click click BOOM!!!!! air bag pops from the front and from the back either dismembering or paralyzing the driver
that.. or just stick a flash bang/smoke grenade inside the car remotly activated
---- it id keep it simple.. have a device mounted on the firewall that clips the throttle cable and call it a day...
no one stealing a car is gonna look inside on the firewall.. and if they do.. mount it on the other side of the firewall.. booya..
