Default 87-88 teg worth $500?

Last night some tweaker degeneRate ***** jacked my car and tried to beat the ---- out of me, while im at work delivering lousy pizzas. So i see this red integra 700obo on the side of the road. need a pizza car fast just wondering what u guys think...

205,000mi multiport injected dualcam 5sp, looks like muffler fell off cAUSe its in the back seat. interior is ok. engine compartment is very dirty oil caked on block etc. keep in mind i live Vegas hondas are always overpriced (thats why i had a Sentra)

thinking of picking it up. cant beat a $500 honda for pizza delivery. One time i got a 87 accored for 500. had 220k mi w/orig. struts carb w/broke off ex. pipe no cat, best damn car i ever owned, and it screamed 4-7k rpm all day everyday and I could never hurt it. Thats the only reason im even looking at a 200k mi car. Im gonna call this guy and test drive it today. if it passes smog. and is running good no knocking or smoke. are these motors hard to turbo? what things should i look for aside from any other cars? weakpoints?

I have an 87 and they arnt any harder than any other honda to turbo. Im almost done with my project. I had the oil adapter break off into the block and its the only thing holding me back. Valve cover gaskets were prone to leak in the corners but im not sure how much oil you are talking about. if it dont have any rust then def. pick it up.

Ok I went and checked it out...not too bad exhaust sounded like ---- of course but the motor purred droved good even though these 2 girls selling it had one 15 one donut and two of the stock rims on it. I was ready to take it to get smogged and then hand over some cash---but they didnt have a title!!how u gonna try to sell a car w/o the damn title? but they need some work done on their retired mail truck so at least ill prolly make some quick cash. btw it was an 89 with the b16 i think. too bad they didnt have title.

Oh yeah if anyone wants a turbo(T3)/manifold(cut stock) setup for the GA16DE nissan let me know...clears A/C. I don't think my sentra gonna be in any shape to take boost when/if I ever see her again.

It's not a B16 unless they did a swap. It's a DOHC D16ZC. Still a damn good motor.

damn man... that sucks. either way people pay $500 just for a zc motor, without the rest of the car. so yeah, if it runs, get it. by the way, i live in vegas too. you might wanna call komp radio station. i heard that if you tell them about your car - license plate, description, etc, they will put out a description of your car on the radio and ask their listeners to call in if they see it out on the street. hella people listen to komp, and a lot of peoples cars have been recovered because of them. i personnally dont listen to komp, so i dont know the phone number or what station it is. but, just turn on your radio and listen to rock stations until you find it, or ask any of your buddies who listen to rock. good luck bro.

ITS NOT A ZC!...its a d16a1...and about 118 hp..(113 for 86-87)...the zc is rated at around 130hp.......a b16 in that car cost over 2k.......ZC for about 500 bucs and boost on that YOU WILL NEED THE INTEGRA ZC...NOT A CIVIC ONE (friend bootsed 10 psi with fuel pump and fmu on a zc that lasted over a year (still going strong in vegas as well :P)

AND VEGAS SUCKS ...my car was already stolen once(nothing was taken except stereo though) fuel kill switches and ignition kill switchs save ur ***!!!!! especially cause alot of the thieves in vegas are ------- dumb

hey quickcrx702..... visit any local boards? if not check out..
