Ya know, if they would have started with a different chasis, and something that didnt look like a ------- neon, it would have been better. But I've drove a couple of them, and I was semi impressed. I dont like 4doors, and I really didnt like the cheese dick interior.
As far as this video.. 500whp, thats pretty impressive on any 4cyl reguardless, I'm just assuming.. but in the video they were saying something about the clutch, hope its not stock, lol..

I'm just saying IF I was going to get a NEW car and was going to go 20k I'd just go all the way to the STi and the EVO's rather than stopping at the SRT-4 (besides I'm not a big fan of cars from American companies... my personal opinion)
A couple is adding 10g or even 15g but you know once you past 15g, its all "NUMB" to you anyways haha =)
a couple more? have you checked the prices of wrx's and evo's? try about 10k more, which is technically a whole nother car

Anyways I watched the vid and yes it could have been more impressive but I see one big problem. That race with the taurus I think they sped it up...look at that black bird or bag or whatever it is, its moving way too fast IMO.

its true. Dodge doesn't label the srt-4 as a neon. It looks like a neon but on there site its in a diffrent category. It might be fast for cheap but I always seen neons as a girls car. Just because its fast doesn't mean you have to get it.

I just droped off a company truck at the dealer and why I was waiting for the shuttle I noticed they had a silver SRT 4 in the showroom. It was the first time I seen the car in person and I thought it looked pretty good for a four door car. The only thing I would do to it would be lower it.
Really though whats not to like about this car? is it the turbo, straight through exhaust, front mount IC, or the 223 wheel horse power. Some don't like it because it's a four door but then the same people say they love the Sti or the new EVO.
I myself drive a civic and an MR2 and admit I'm not a big fan of Dodge but have to tip my hat to them for building such a car, a car that would smoke the new Si or Celica
