Default 4gen. civic wheel stud removal

i was wondering if anyone has ever replace their own wheel studs... what do you have to do to make the wheel studs come out? thanks

a mallet is your friend.. they are just hammered into the hub.

#16 is hammered into the hub (#3)

you have to take the whole knuckle off of the car and have them pressed the wheel bearings pressed out in order for the back of the studs to clear :P

yeah its a pain in the *** just to take those things out. well did it kinda ghetto hammered out the wheel bearing ourself with a big socket. and hammered out the studs and put some grease on that bitch and put it back in. no probs since but still thinkin i should change that wheel bearing

i changed mine on the front, and it was basicaly like changing your disc brakes. its not to bad
