Yeah, that's the shitty part about the swap. Look on the plus side though, you'll never break axles :P

Lol dan funny your thinking about this. My buddy is crazy enough to do this but he is taken it one step and doing it as a AWD. He has the 91 crx i sold him, and my buddies 1g that he gave him lol cause his tranny kept breaking so he gave the car away. It is a ---- ton worth of work its been 2 years so far with him working on part time. He will be usen custom axles from Raxles. But if any one can pull it off it will be him. Granted it will be a awhile before it works

Sadly, the car I'd be taking is only about 200 lbs heavier than mine. That doesn't make it seem quite worth it...

Not to be mean or anything, but I think that swap is far beyond your skill level.

As far as axles go, your best bet would be to call up the driveshaft shop and have some custom made with dsm splines on the inside, and honda splines on the outside with the custom length you need. I, personally, wouldn't trust axles welded together. For an ECU, I would just run the stock electronics. The DSM ecu's do a decent job at dealing with raised boost, and stock ecu's + an AFC have been proven over and over again. Or then if you wanted to get crazy with it, use a DSMlink ecu, or an AEM plug and play standalone

If your REALLY interested, I was in the middle of doing this swap into a del sol and have half of the motor mounts completley fabbed up and for sale
You're a ------- moron, please stop talking. AFC is never a good solution.

As for the 4g63, it's a lot worse of an engine than the DSM crowd will ever admit. Mitsubishi have terrible engineers.

you really need to stfu.

In general, the 4g63 is the ONLY component of DSMs that people consider NOT to be junk. You're a retard. And sorry, but DSMers can't download crome for free, and not everyone can swing buying DSMLink and then buying an EPROM ECU and having it socketed, so an AFC is fine.

4g63's are strong *** engines, the cams and lifter setups in them ------- blow. it only takes about 600-800 to make the top ends solid. I have a fully built 4g in my garage and it put down over 700 hp with a stock port head. ams stroker kit, 282 stage 3 cams and to be honest it was pretty streetable, it just idled around 1200.. But DSM tranny's suck ***. almost every AWD tranny sucks with a transverse engine. ---- suby tranny's too.
