The inflation tax is much higher than the governments claimed 2%.
It blows my mind that the constitution says congress is the only body that should ever control the creation of our money, and they could have printed it (and still could) WITH NO INTEREST. Interest is the majority of our debt. Instead they gave the responsibility to a bunch of bankers who tax us. Why nobody has said ---- about this or has attempted to change it makes zero sense to me. If our government printed our own money and charged us half of the interest we would never have a national debt again.

Yes he will. He's stated it numerous times.
Sure this ron-paul guy may be the best thing since sliced bread......but face it he has no chance against either of the big parties.
The only way for you to gauge what kind of chance he has is either the media, or the polls. I could easily prove that both of those are not to be trusted. The media is all owned by big corporations anyhow. Big corporations that depend on corporate welfare, making products for war, and looking to expand thier customer base when we turn Iraq into the next Hollywood. What'd you think they were going to tell you?
It really shouldn't be all that hard. The first primary state is Iowa. Generally, 5% of Iowa actually leaves thier houses to vote in the primary, or roughly 135,000 people. The weather will be ---- that day, and a big college football game will be on TV. Do you really think people are going to leave thier houses to vote for John McCain?? Well, some will, and most won't. One thing is for sure, 100% of Ron Paul supporters will be there to vote. We pick up Iowa, and the rest of the country is going to change thier tune with this "he has no chance" mentality. Once he wins a couple more primarys, the elites murder him, and we have another civil war, but in the end, we'll put this ---- back together.
