If you drop the clutch at 6000rpm in any AWD something will most likely break. He launches it at 5k+, but he feathers the clutch out like you should, which is why the thing hasn't blown to bits. Preload is everything on an AWD drivetrain. Start with a little torque in the drivetrain and feather it out to no clutch.

His car weighs significantly less than a piggy evo/wrx.

So realtime AWD, is that strong or upgradeable? Also what is the power ratio front to rear, I heard its not 50/50

.

Quoted for redunancy and humor.

What did you think was going to happen to a glass gear box or a DSM product?

RealtimeAWD transfers power to the rear when the front loses traction. When AWD is engaged the ratio is 50/50.

He actually launches pretty well. Most AWD drivers pop the clutch and put it flat on its face. Don't know what the management is, but FTL would be nice.

its tunned with neptune by Jeff Evans on c16 and has been running at well over 300 hp being raped at the track for over a year. Jeffs dyno #s read a bit on the high side but regardless this is still very impressive.
