Well I know the headgasket for a 350cc motor I'm gonna be working on is ~$50 but I'll check and see how much it'd be for one for the 80cc.

BigWheeze - Thanks for reminding me that I never graduated college and I am dumb.

yup you're right man. The guy that sold the 350cc engine told me the HG was ~$50. Looks like i can find one for much cheaper. Gotta find a cheap wiring harness, CDI box and resistor thingamabob before I can get that one running tho.

Gasket material and a razor blade is what I always used, get the thin paper like ---- and use copper spray and it will work.

Ok well I took the head off and it looked like someone has been chewing on the piston. My original idea of using a 12mm plug ain't gonna fly b/c it would interfere with the valves.

I gots another question. I can wiggle the rod a little bit, about 1mm or so. Is that bad?

Basically I wanna figure out if this thing is worth salvaging or not.

Clayton - no it's a 2-stroke with valves and it's a diesel rotary.

Nah, ---- all this bullshit. I think im just gonna tear it down and part it out. I got enough projects going on.
