My next gun will be a Kel-Tec .380. They sell for around $280 new.

HAHA, and you think Kel-Tec is any better? Cheap *** POS rifles that blow-up from the breach face not locking shut. I wouldn't expect their pistols to be any better.

First off: you are getting ripped off on those: the 380 MSRP is 99.99 and the .9mm is 129.99 (unless you are getting the ones with factory lasers attached then the prices sound about right)
Hi-point = .380 ACP is alright... 9mm blows, although accuracy on a HP is damn near horrible because they are all very top heavy. cheaply made, cheap design. yes technically ssauto of guns.

for used there are many rugers for around 200. i have many pistols... springfield xd-40 - 40 cal, ruger p944 - 40 cal, ruger p95-decoker - 9mm, walther p22 - .22 cal.

for the money, you honestly cannot go wrong with a ruger.. my first gun that i gave to my brother was a ruger mark 2, that thing could shoot in the ------- sand... but a 22 isnt gonna do a whole lot of damage thats when i got a p95dc a 9mm, its feel was uncompared to anything else i have shot.

honestly spend the extra 150 and get a ruger, they also have lifetime warrenties.. and you will be way more happy with the steel frame than that crappy wanna be glock polymer. if you want a polymer gun, get a springfield, they have like 3 times the amount of safty features as a glock and all the same upgrade capability.

REMEMBER, A GUN IS LIKE A CAR, you are always gonna want better and more power. it gets expensive

heres my 2 rugers that im ready with for house protection. (with my cali banned 30 round clips)

i agree for the money you prob wont beat a ruger!

im english and have just moved to spain where the gun rules are better in england pistols are baned so i came up with a way of converting blank fireing pistols! i had a p99 9mm and a bereta 92 9mm actualy they were 380 as blank firers are blowback not locking breach so 380 was the safest to use. i also converted an 8mm bereta 85 and 8mm ppk blank firer to .32acp

you guys in the usa are lucky. i love guns!

if you could have 1 pistol money no object what would it be?

Nice.

What all is involved to legally own a handgun? I realize I would need a concealed weapon license, but does the gov't also have some sort of registration thing to keep tabs on who owns what guns?
