happy b-day!!! it just seems like yesterday i was contemplating what i wanted to do with my dx...swap like every other person out there or boost. well, jeff made it all possible for me to get off my *** and make my own kit, have something to set myself apart from the others, and saved me probably $3,000.

This has been my first forum to....I didn't even know what a forum was before I saw this one .
I got my ghetto HMT setup ready with a new HMT manifold I made . Can't wait to use it on my new car.
This time there will be a write up and pic's ok Jeff??(It will have to good old PVC charge pipes to..minus the ducttape) I'll get metal charge pipes later on...I don't work and live on scholarship money so bare with me)

I haven't been on a forum this much since I was at Supraforums.com (89 turbo). But it kept crashing or something and the supra needs some major $$$ dumped in the motor to make it good and then it still has a low hp ceiling. I found this site somehow (not sure how) and am sure glad. Because of this site I got a crx that I plan to boost once I get it fixed after it sucked up water two days ago. Long live HMT. My home sweet home.

Man, I remember when I first signed up here too. I didn't know a thing about turbo setups. But I've learned so much from all of you over time, and I'm just about complete building my own setup. Thanks Jeff and everyone else here at HMT for making it what it is.

All I remember of HMT back in the day was that I drove lifted trucks, and Jay, Steve, and Ryan all had turbo cars. The others blew motors and quit. Jay stuck it out, he was always the fastest and even his red CRX is pretty ------- rad. All I remember is the first time he put a turbo on I believe a 1990 red hat with d15 multipoint (he could always make the d15 go faster than d16 N/A so that's what he had) and all of a sudden he blew up his four speed and his axles were always wearing out. They would talk about the adapter plates and making better adapter plates. I could make any ------- sense of it. What the hell is a turbo? I got the corolla for free and swapped in some better ---- for running gear. Jay was faster. I turbo'd it. Jay was faster. Jay went N/A. Jay was faster. He's built 3 realy solid HMT cars, one good N/A car, always faster than me. Well, you guys were a lot of inspiration for me, even when I swore I'd never replace another broken piston or blown head gasket. Now I've got a couple g's into a setup that isn't even close to complete and I know it doesn't end there. Something happens when you drive N/A cars for a while. You get into a turbo car again and it eats at your brain. I watch the video from original HMT BBQ when Johnny is railing on Jeff's car and the tach is like, smack! pssshst! smack! psssssssssshhhtt! so anyway, yeah. Thanks guys, you made me broke. I love reading your crazy ----, and I gotta get back to the drawing board if I'm gonna beat Jay at Mission next year.

Im honored that you mentioned me jeff. It should be me thanking you and everyone else on the board for helping me out ,even if i drive a fiero . You guys have always been there and this has been a great year of learning about the car gods . I wish many more years and best wishes to come with this forum ,its been a second family to me. Thanks
