Default 2JZ-GTE in an 87 celica ST!!

anyone heard of anyone swapping out the motor of an 87 celica with a 2JZ-GTE well i am if anyone knows anyone that has, hit me back with some feedback. i just know my car's gonna haul ***!!!!

its already been done, a long time ago... a group i belive down south florida did it but it is very very tight and they had cooling problems but it was quick, i think htye only used it as track car...

Thanks for the heads up. did you find out if they fixed that cooling problem? was it really fast(being lighter than a supra and all)? thanks.

try going to supraforums.com and ask around, im sure its been done before.

And go to nix99.com for the 2JZGTE motor, they have one in stock for 4500 bucks!

yes it was fast but i do not recall if they fixed the cooling problem.

Can someone tell me how this can work?
the 2J is a RWD inline 6 cylinder and the 87 celica
is FWD 4 cyl.
I've seen a FWD engine work in a RWD car.
I really don't think you can do this without
a total tube chassis
and relocating the engine
