Yes, but not reliably, and not at those power levels full time.

rockbrawler884 I have alot of experiance when I tell you.
Unichip is by *******, for *******.

And 630cc injectors are too god damned big. If this were any other forum but HMT I'd do the math for you, but since this is HMT I'll tell you to do some mother ------- research & then do the math.

The farther off the injectors are from stock, the more, and more often you have to retune. Theworse the engine tune under load is, AND THE FASTER & WORSE THE LONG TERM FUEL TRIM WILL ---- YOU UP UNDER BOOST.

I don't give a flying ---- what turbonetics sells in a kit. Turbonetics doesn't sell tuned cars. They sell random in a box. No different than SSA Autochrome, just with hardware not quite the same level of asstasticness.

hmm all I hear is bad things about shops tuning the new tC. My friend has one and it's not particularly outstanding out of the box. You're saying that the slant squish design of that head puts extra strain on the lands, with weak *** pistons to boot? Because I'll be sure to make my friend read this thread if so. He wants to go turbo with his.

No, the more modern high compression Toyota pistons moved the ringland location up the side of the piston, and the parts have been lightened. It's a tuning issue. If shops wouldn't tune them half-assed, there would never be a problem.

Still forged steel rods, and the piston construction itself is nice.
