To again reference the Carerra GT, a brake job on that sucker with new rotors and pads + labor is damn close to $20K so that may or may not be true.

Yeah but 20 thousand clams is still excessive for a trans, even if it is destroyed and hanging out of the back of the car like a mean turtle head. That is just sodomy. That guy should buy a new tranny assembly and pay me to put it in, then pay Scottie to stab the CEO of Nissan in the face with a hot curling iron.
