Re: 20k GTR trans fix!!!
If you can afford a car that much then a tranny shouldn't be that much of a problem to pay to get fixed. I wouldn't fix it either if I worked in the claims dept of that dealership or Nissan period. You beat on the car you pay for what you broke. Just because the is fast and mad furious, doesn't mean the car is unbreakable. Pay up Spillner and get that ---- shipped in overnight from Japan.

Performance sport cars are not built to look nice and sit in a garage. They are built to perform. Granted some people do abuse a car more then they should or more then it can handle, but in all honesty, Who would be happy with me if i was selling clutches claiming they hold 600 ft lbs of torque, you just can launch on it, redline, or speed shift or it will void the warranty. They should flat out say that the ------- trans has no warranty unless the problem is clearly identified as engineering or manufacturing defect. If they did that, they would lose about 90% of the customers out there, but Big business always try to find a way to screw the little guys. Dont get me wrong, Nissan needs to be able to protect themselves as well, but they shouldn't do it by throwing in fine print.
