2008 wrx sti officially out

Re: 2008 wrx sti officially out
I like it. it looks like a modern 92-95 civic hatch with a lot more muscle. I don't care for the grille though, but then again, subaru hasn't made a nice looking impreza/wrx front end since the 99 2.5rs.
give it time, it'll grow on you. I also read that mitsubishi's next evo is going to be a hatchback.

the seats are firm and not obnoxiously bolstered, yet never get uncomfortable. shifter/steering wheel placement is excellent, along with pedal/driver position. you never have to pick your knee up to clutch, maybe to brake, but not to clutch. interior layout is where things should be, roomy, comfortable, not clustered, quality feeling to all the interior parts, cept the visors. noone can get that quality visor feeling anymore, it's overlooked. dash is decently good on anti-glare, mirror angles are pretty good. easy as ---- to work on like most subarus (void is the h6 3.0/3.3/3.6). looks are the downfall, but the performance those looks bring to the sti platform will make this a much more dominating car when pushed to its limits. subarus aren't about driver over profit, neither is the wrx/sti.

I sold Subaru's in toronto for 4 years... a Lego GT with an Access port and a downpipe was just as fast and a lot nicer to drive.

unless theres a power seat in the car, the seat isnt angled up enough for that back of the knees feeling, and gets annoying as ---- in about 10 seconds flat.
im waiting for the 3.6 to swap into the legacy, since they put the 3.0/3.6 into the tribeca, the 3.0 into the legacy outback. no legacys are sold with the h6 anymore. there is several full exhausted legacy gt's that come in, and those ******* scoot for the weight difference they bring.
