Default 2000 alero

anybody ever turbo an olds alero?

my buddy has a 2000 alero and wants to know why he should try to build a turbo instead of spend 2 grand on a supercharger kit.

any info on turboed aleros would be appreciated

i'll sell the alero and buy a honda civic coupe 99-00 and boost that. i bet he'll be happier with it. plus descent fuel management will be hard to come by with that car.

There is a guy down here that has a turbo set up on his alero.
He spent alot of money on a set up and its a dog. It went 13.9 on 12psi with 3.4 v6. You can spray them into the deep 13 safely with a few bolt ons. He has spent about $7500 on the car and he cant even look at it with out geting ill.

The supercharged ones are slow and gay also.

I understand people want to be different and want to work with the car that they currently own, but seriously...IMO sometimes extreme modding on a certain type of car just isn't practical. take that 2k, spend 500-1k(or less) on a decent Civic/CRX, blow the rest on boost
