1g eclipse with hyundai valve cover.....?
i was in the junkyard today and i found a 1g dsm eclispe with a 4g63 turbo engine...ok nothing out of the ordinary...but i took a closer look and the valve cover said hyundai on it
??whata hyundai pos motor in a eclipse....it looked just like the 4g63, but with a different valve cover...has anyone ever seen this?just wondering what the deal is here?i will post some pics soon, i will get them on monday...

what? well this eclipse was turbo!!but was an automatic....it was weird, when i think of hyundai, i dont think of performance...i dont ever know with mitsu, they are afilliated with crysler, hyundai. who knows..before u know it itsubishi will be in nascar!!

Mitsubishi produced its motors for various companies... such as hyundai, chryslers, i believe colts had them at one point, i remember taking the tranny off a chrysler once and it fit on an eclipse 1st gen

yeah... i have.... thats when i noticed mitsubishi -----d itself to other car companies.... becuase i needed a stock airbox so my car could pass smog.. since i had modified my original one... i found this decent looking colt. and i took the airbox from it.. slapped it on mine and it fit... i couldnt believe it... somewhere i hear those little colts haul ***....
