Crappy Rear beam suspension, poor build quality, ugly, but a nice engine.

Isn't it basically a NA 300Z motor in a Maxima?

Nope, not that year.

The Z31 300Z has a very similar engine to the 1989-1994 Nissan Maxima GXE and 89-91 SE tho (VG30E).

The 95+ Maximas are all the VQ family (95-99 VQ30DE, 2000/01 VQ30DE-K, 2002/03 VQ35DE, 2004 VQ35DE+10hp.

Basically the 95 or the 96 would be pimp to have that will probably be my next car if i live that long and ive talked to my friends and decided that if i got one i would go with a single turbo, a big one.

I read about some guy running a maxima I think it may have been 94 he was pulling like 12sec quarters. He used a gym bag to cover the massive nitrous bottle he needed to get those 12s but still cool if you buy it I hear maxima.org has some good info just my 2cents if its even 2cents worth
