Default 1988 thunderbird turbo coupe

well to make a long story short
the lx 4.6l v6 thunderbird i bought was not as quick as i wanted it to be so i sold it 2 days later for $150 more than i paid for it with no money in to it
and after that i was cruising craigslist and found a 1988 turbo coupe with a 5 speed
which sounded pretty good
long story short at 117k and in perfect mechanical condition (new clutch to!)
i left after a brief test drive (and for only $600 cash, he was asking $1250! haha)

man this car is faster than is has the right to be
i mean it will light the hell out of 1st off the throttle
and will bark 2nd gear granny shifting on low boost (10psi, regular fuel mode, but runs 15psi in premium fuel high boost mode!!!) and it's just way faster than a stock 2.3l turbo (tiny turbo i think they have a small t3 from the factory)
i honostly think when i get to the track it'll run high 13's low 14's which doesn't sound like alot but it's got some serious traction issues
but i want more.... more power
anyone have any experence with the turbo coupe or ford 2.3l turbo motors?
like i said it's an 88 with a factory air to air top mount with functional hood scoops to cool it off but still seems a larger ic couldn't hurt (or maby a no2 sprayer?)
also how much can you "tweak" the boost on the factory turbo before it just starts blowing hot air and tears up the turbo?
and does anyone know if the boost gauge in the tach is an actual boost gauge or if it just reads off the ecu and what the boost "should" be or so it thinks?

and find a site to host them with
but its a mean car
when leaving a friends house earlier (mind you it's old and i just got it some im being easy to not break somthing) i rolled out of the driveway get to about 5-6mph in 1st gear push the clutch in bring the revs up to 3000-3500rpm dump the clutch hold it for a sec then put the gas pedal through the firewall and i spins all of first gear (10psi low boost on top of that)
then at about 30mph i grab second (somthing like 5500rpm, they go to 6250rpm but again im taking it easy...) and spin second a good 20-30ft and i shifted so slow it's not even funny
this thing is a ------- hoot at 10psi i have yet to throw some 95octain in it and run 15psi
im kinda afraid i'll open a worm hole (ok, maby not really but i do like my license and all my fenders intact)
anyone wanna go fast and make v8's look stupid
drive a turbo coupe with a 5speed

ok i'll see if i can't find one on ebay for cheap

as for installing the bov (this is the one im looking at eBay Motors: Turbo TYPE-H/ RFL BOV Blow off + Adapter pipe 2.5" XS (item 380121090151 end time May-06-09 15:12:29 PDT))
and the adapter pipe goes between the stock top mount and the tb right?
the only thing is it's a 2.5inch pipe and my ic out is 2" and my tb is 2"
should i look to see if i can find one in 2" or just get 2 2-2.5" couplers?
also it says it's 6" long but the stock is just a coupler with no tube (so the ic is only about 2inches away from the tb would i hurt anything to chop the pipe down until it's short enough to go between? and that is where i goes right?)
also if im not mistaking it's bad on some turbo engines to run an open air bov right somthing about mass air (like dsm's i know of)
is that how the t-bird is or is it safe for an open air bov on it?
it's my current dd so i need it reliable

also the turbo is dead quiet until you really get on it (spool sound)
if i open up the intake with some tubing and open k&n knockoff filter will that make the spooling louder?
also i should make it spool faster right?
