1984 honda civic 1500s
ok so i have a 3g civic that has a completely stock engine and i got a great deal on a turbo kit!!! i mean the dude is basically giving it away, hes got the turbo, intercooler, exhaust manifold, hoses, adapter plates, and a few other parts i dont know wat they r... im pretty sure everythings there, and apparently it is just bolt on bc it matches the year and model.
but wat i want to know is if this will blow my engine?? i was told by the seller that if i put on a boost controller and turn it down will it still ruin my engine?? also how difficuly is it to put all this into my engine bay and also wat parts will i need to complete this mod?? thanks in advance for ur replies

Oh boy...
You need to do some research, grasshopper. BTW, I doubt anyone on here has turbo'd a civic prior to the 3rd gen. - at least not successfully. You said that the turbo kit "matches the year and model." What the hell does that mean? Do the parts of the kit have a year marked on them or something?

i bet everything is not there...good luck turboing a carbd 3g, unless you got lucky enough to get a fuel injected model..it takes a ton of research....which you can find on the interwebs
not trying to be an ***, but i have a 1g crx...started out carb, but swapped the motor for an 89 d16a1 so it was easier to turbo and tune
