Default 1200 miles and 19 hours later.....(pics) *UPDATE*more pics...

I finally found my hatch. It was a long, hard trip, but it was all worth it in the end. I'm just glad it's all over with.

So it took me 3.75 hours to get to Fountain Valley California. It took me about 20 minutes to get to my sisters house to rebuild the bitch and another 7 ------- HOURS to get home. This was one of the scariest trips I have ever gone on in my life. The first ride in this car was a skipping sliding roller coaster. I don't know what's wrong with the springs or struts, but the bitch doesn't like to keep the tires on the ground on the freeway. Very scary. That's why it took so long to get back, plus I ran out of gas, got pulled over, and was too scared to hit the speed limit. The check engine light was on the whole way. The low beams didn't work, the front end was a scary feeling, the ****** wouldn't idle, which was a bitch in rush hour traffic leaving California at 30PM on a Friday. I moved a total of like 40 miles in 2.5 hours. I was so pissed. Trying to keep that ------- car running while moving at 0-4mph was shitty to say the least. Then the **** started to overheat so I had to turn the heater on, which was not cool at all.

On with the pics......

The tow truck taking the pile to my sisters house.

For those of you who were wondering, yes it is a ZC. Imagine that. I asked the guy as we were standing directly in front of the car and he swore up and down that it was a 2.0 Prelude motor. He said he knew because he changed the timing belt and had the numbers ran and the auto parts store said it was a 2.0.

Here she is safe and sound in the garage. I'm surprised I made it.

BTW, the "mono whiper" was removed prior to me driving it. :P

----, I'm kinda glad I didn't have to help you with that thing. Sounds like you have some repairs to make before you can start working on turboing it. Once you get it all together though, you can make it to all of our meets. lol. You have been adopted you know.

If you were afraid to hit the speed limit... How did you end up getting pulled over?!

The car was in California, I am in Arizona. It was about 3 hours 45 minutes away.
This was the car: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEBWN%3AIT

I got pulled over because after I ran out of gas and somehow managed to make it to a hill billy gas station I made a wrong turn and had to flip a bitch to get back on the freeway. Just as I was turning around a cop was pulling into the gas station and I guess he thought I looked like trouble. As soon as he walked up to the car I riddled off my story to him and he was like "Oh, ok, I'm just going to run your license". He came back and said drive safely. One of the cooler cops I have ever ran into.

Yeah, Steve, you wouldn't have been happy about this one. I had to fix sooo much ---- just to drive it. I had to change all 4 tires because they were all bald and showing metal. Good thing I brought an extra set.

My PM's don't work for me anymore so I couldn't read any of them anyways. This worked out fairly good though. I drove up there about 80am Friday, Left my sisters at 30PM and got to Havasu at 110PM. Yes, that's right, 110PM. When I got home I jumped in the shower and ran right back out the door back to California. Not fun.....

so tell me again why the ---- you went to your sister's house and why the car was towed there and where she lives.

basically your sister lives in cali and you had it towed to her house to get the car driveable for your trip?

Correct. They also wouldn't let me drive it off the property because it was against California state law. It can't pass smog because of the motor so it can't be registered to it can't be driven.

My sister lives like 18 miles away from the owner of the car so it worked out pretty good. It cost $90 to tow the car there, plus a $10 tip because the tow truck driver was cool as hell. Strange thing ws he is from my town(Havasu).
