why didn't you come find me there ho train but yeah that was at the 05 carcraft. That motor is a 598 W/ Dart Heads, a Solid Roller Cam, tunnel Ram with dual Dominators and a huge shot of Nitrous

"Carl broke da straps on da dynoooo."

Spoken like a true Minnesotan. No wonder every state makes fun of us for our accents.

Haha, I had to laugh at both of those videos. All the rednecks cheering and the guy that screamed "whoa" really got me.

that was close encounter!
why do most shops put dynos so high even though they know that can happen?
no room for the car to go if it breaks the straps or jumped off the rollers.

Cheaper to bring a unit in, and set it in an open area, than having to custom make a concrete base, or a type of basement to put the unit in. Most if not all shops rent warehouse space and cannot afford to custom build their dyno.
Then if they ever move, it is easier to tow out the dyno unit, than having to bring some type of crane to lift it out of the hole in the ground and well....you get my point. It's all cost effective. If you check your straps and make sure they are in good condition it should not happen.

Now 1200hp and possibly 1000+lb/tq will break anything....The redneck should have asked before.
