Default 1000HP gm ecotec engine

This is crazy ,they are saying that you can build this motor out of the GM performance parts catalog. You need to see the stup on this bitch my god it is beautiful ,perfectly clean and how the turbo is set up....dude. It is in the september issue of Sports Compact Car on page 36. I wouldn't mind having that in my fiero . They also say they plan on making over 1,150 hp before actually exceeding the production part limits :P. That is some awesome stuff

it seems like half of the ---- that is in scc ends up in the forums. I was going to bitch about it until I actually read this article and learned more than scc told me. keep the information coming boys.

Your suprised? The new ecotec obviously has a lot of potential. GM actually has a book you can purchase on how to make your ecotec 1000hp and I beleive every part number is available through GM.

On a different note this car is winning championships left and right from what I remember. I know he is in the 8 second maybe high 7's with this car. I heard recently lingenfelter is now pushing over 1550 hp with it.

Little more info its actually its a 2.2 destroked to 2.0 running over 40+ psi of boost. Another good link explaining a little about the engine No other jbody engine has pushed this much hp before. Althought the 2.4 has been close no one has taken it this far. If only Gm would answer back to the SRT-4 with a turbo cav instead of the redline ion with a supercharger

This proves that GM could rape some major *** in the sports compact market. Personally i think the SRT is kinda sad for a turboed car. As for all the parts on the eco ,yes they all have there part numbers in the GM parts catalog. The 40+ psi would explain that huge *** freakin turbo :P.........my god that is beautiful and not to mention fockin sexy as hell.
