You will spend more on springs than a decent set of traction bars and a tube of polyurathane?

A really stiff spring is not going to help eliminate wheel hop. Wheel hop is actually the wheel oscillating front and back, not up and down. The springs have very very very little effect on the front and back motion of the knuckle.

It is caused by the wheel moving forward before the chassis because of the flex of the suspension bushings. After going forward enough, the tire loses traction and violently scoots backwards. This motion is repeated over and over.

Traction bars keep the hub rigid with the chassis, thus eliminating the effect. There still may some because the lower control arm now will pivot a little bit where the traction bar is mounted. This pivoting motion is very small and is a massive reduction from without the bar.

Just get a traction bar.

Some ES bushings in the front will help for the mean time but ya get a traction bars.

Also some of the effect comes from the engine oscillating back and forth around the axles.

Stiff motor mounts help a little here too.
