10,000lb springs

---- if I know, but I seriously need some stout *** springs. I'm trying to eliminate wheel hop w/o getting wheelie bars. Anyone know if they make 10k springs for a CRX and if so, where can I get them at?

You will spend more on springs than a decent set of traction bars and a tube of polyurathane?

It is caused by the wheel moving forward before the chassis because of the flex of the suspension bushings. After going forward enough, the tire loses traction and violently scoots backwards. This motion is repeated over and over.

Traction bars keep the hub rigid with the chassis, thus eliminating the effect. There still may some because the lower control arm now will pivot a little bit where the traction bar is mounted. This pivoting motion is very small and is a massive reduction from without the bar.

Just get a traction bar.

Some ES bushings in the front will help for the mean time but ya get a traction bars.

Also some of the effect comes from the engine oscillating back and forth around the axles.

Stiff motor mounts help a little here too.

easy cure, make more power and haze the slicks when lauching....

Change the preload on the sway bar (.10 for two washers)

And when traction bars and slicks are insufficient? I heard stout rear springs helps eliminate weight transfer which will in turn keep more weight on the front end if the rear can't squat.
