Re: 1 year anniversary @ my job today...
Started my career at $10 an hour drafting....5 years and a couple of moves later I'm at $25 an hour, $37.50 anything over 40 a week. Needless to say I work 45+ hours a week.
2 years of college, got an AS degree. I probably will never be stupid rich, but I should be okay.....
Congrats on the raise. It always makes you feel good, when you get that compensation for your work. Remember there's always someone that makes more money than you, so just be happy with what you make.

davcivic - I'm a drafter too with an AS in Architecture, and am only getting $14/hr at the moment pulling a little over $400 a week. Needless to say, this is my second job in the field. Firist Architect was a cheap **** and only gave me $8/hr. That's a shame huh? So I dropped him like nothing when I got this one. If you don't mind, tell me how you got up to the mid $20's? What was your techniques? Job hoppin'?
