well i limped my carto get 2.5 turbo back (sounds nice, not loud at all) exaust put on about 20mi away, picked it up today drove home takin it easy except a few times a drove hard for a sec at 8psi got home notice my engine ticks pretty loud now. not like the normal honda valve need adjustment tick, slightly louder and faster like maybe a few got jacked up? car is running on a basemap for my motor and injectors but a wrx turbo not a 14b.. untuned so ya im stupid.

so is it safe to say my just a little boost messed my valves up like that? most of the way home i stayed out of boost. just sidestreets when i was almost home i got on it a little

on the upside my turbo works as it should, dsm bov sounds cool, nothing leaks yet, car pulls alot harder thats forsure.

sounds like you fed up your motor. valves dont just get fucked up. its def lower end noise, if anything

i bet that shop raped your car. if ti wasnt doing it when you took it there and now its doing since you picked it up i would go bitch at someone until it was fixed, and dont let them fix it. make them pay for whatever shop you take it to.

A shop did that to my moms car, the transmission didnt want to shift and the engine sounded like *** on the ride home... I was the last person to drive it. We couldn't really prove it was the mechanic though, sucks

Yeah most of the people that work at shops have a little fun with the cars especially when they are fixed up. I always check my odometer to see if it's been driven and how far.

The engine is going to heat up a lot more with a Turbo.
All the parts are gona get much hotter and its gona Give you a lot of ticking sounds as the metal cools down.
I dont think its worth geting into a sweat over.
