Default 1/8 th mile drags Monroe

I was kinda dissaponteded at the dyno today only made 234hp. But i am happy with the torque of 360ft lbs an all of that below 3000 rpms. With the intercooler an btm an awesomwe exhaust works an intercooler plumbing an the homemade turbo bonnet. Finnally No header leaks. I was hoping to be in the 300 to 350 hp range.
Was loosing boost slowly would build 14psi quickly an then slowly dissapate as rpm climed to 5000

Set boost at 14 psi after many lil mods to see where can get more. The question is how much can she take..Bets?

I do know the tires spin pretty easilly when boost arrives even at the 5 psi mark.i feel she is race ready except i need to put on the 29-12.50 mickey thompson wrinkle walls i have for my mothballed fordillac.

Will install in the morning an head on out there i beleive gate opens up at 100 or 11:00 was 20 bucks to race,Just need a helmet an fir extinquisher an the normal tied down engine stuff.
Boost doesnt fall off when im on the street running it hard......If any you guys gonna show up, come over an introduce your self an ill show you mine an you could show mw yours.Spectators i think are 15:00 in the pits an 5:00 in the stands Thanks all for reading SBC TURBO thread

Using a Lancer EVO IC.

Datalogging wideband/rpm with my Zeitronix WB.

Came out pretty smooth 11.8~12.4 2000~5000rpms.

Good luck tommorow ted, weather is looking good, My guess is gonna be 8.5

Well update is 8.7 1/8th mile with a 1.85 reaction an a 2.5 60 foot running mickey thompson wrinkles.Did ok till i blew a hole in the elbow off the turbo at half track at 15 psi. Lucky for me it was last run for qualifing. With a lil scurring, couldnt find any duck tape but i did find some packing tape.Wrapped it up good an went out for my eliminations.Got a by run due to odd number an so i was gaurentted first second or third due to only 5 in my bracket.Anyway did ok with minimal boost leak 9.9 lol.Got back around an raced for 3rd an i finnally got turbo to spool at line an cut a .820 light an ran a 8.7 on 10 psi.Was ahead supprisingly so i let out but i still broke out by damn it.Watch the rest of the finals an all said an done i came home with at least a trophy 3rd place.Has 2 awd talons an mustang in our class that practiced an left saying didnt wanna break there cars.Damn i wanna race a lil more.Anyway i got some good video of a nice smokey burnout an some hwy footage will look to get Hosted.Need bigger stall converter an higher compression an this thing will ripp pretty good down low an on the upper end also.Turned up the boost to 15 psi after dynoed it an i think gonna get a boost controller an turn it up till she cant handle any more. Wonder how much boostit candle handle before lets loose any takers?
